Powder Coater

As part of the production team, you will be expected to undertake a variety of roles within metalwork and final assembly to support the factory requirements on a variety of products covering our essential markets within Nurse call and Custodial solutions.

The individual is expected to be a reliable team player, operating as part of a small team delivering this aspect of factory output.

Requirements

• Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sandblasting, or applying chemical treatments as required.
• Select and mix powder coating materials to achieve desired colors and finishes.
• Apply powder coating using spray guns or other application equipment, ensuring even coverage and thickness.
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings to maintain optimal coating application and curing processes.
• Inspect finished products for quality defects, such as uneven coatings or imperfections, and make necessary corrections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of coating materials and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
